There is a Hytera XPT system near me that I want to monitor. I have both UHF RF frequencies and the Color Code.

I don't have the LCNs. Are LCNs for Hytera XPT usually single digit numbers, like Capacity Plus?

I suggest that you click on Report and request that your thread be moved to the Hytera forum. There will be a better chance of getting an answer.

I assume you are trying to program an XPT system into a scanner

This forum seems like a better place since he's probably using a uniden scanner and wants to get the correct info for a hytera system on that uniden scanner.

That might depend on what scanner you're using.
The SDS series will track it even if you don't have the LCNs in there from my limited scanning of Hytera DMR systems.
I do know 100% it will not work in LCN finder. It will say that it's finished but have 0 LCNs founded

Forget about trying to properly track an XPT system with a Uniden scanner. They simply can’t do it. Not with these current models and firmware.

Maybe if UPman was still around he’d release a method but it ain’t happening now. Sadly.

Maybe it can be added to “the list”.

I monitor local casinos that use XPT systems with my Uniden SDS radios. My solution is to create a site for each frequency and then scan through the individual sites. Set the LCN to 0 and choose the appropriate Color Code. The scanner will check each frequency for activity and move to the next site if there is no activity. This works well because each talk group typically uses just one of the frequencies.
