I was getting off of I-35 NB at Hwy 33 in Guthrie when 2 unmarked units get off the same exit code 3 at full speed and turn going towards Langston. About 45 min later I am getting on I-35 SB and I counted 4 more units getting off I-35, code 3 and full speed. So, anyone know what was going on? I think it was OHP.

Ah... I wonder if that was the manhunt. I never heard where it was, but around that time I heard an OHP officer listing off the units he had on scene - about ten OHP units, plus other agencies! They had a perimeter set up, and were beginning a search.

Much later, around 11:30PM, I was headed home and heard OCPD asking for units who were available to assist in the manhunt. Sounded like quite an intensive hunt! Never did hear any details on where/who/what though...

That was it! Just tried searching for it. Here's a blurb from channel 5:
Manhunt Ends For Escapee - Oklahoma City News Story - KOCO Oklahoma City

Cool, they finally caught the guy but wow it took them all night!

Here's a video clip from last night during the hunt:

They caught him during a traffic stop, his license was suspended and he had drug warrants. When the trooper tried to take him into custody he assulted the officer and fled.

I listened to the whole thing. Very interesting, I was aware of at least 20 OHP units and several LCSO cars on scene. Glad they caught him. I never did hear if the trooper sustained serious injury?

I do know there was a Guthrie EMS truck on scene standing by in case the bad guy needed a ride to the hospital.
