I hate to ask, but...

I've been back-scanning through a couple of years' worth of old threads on Yahoogroups trying to find specific troubleshooting info for Unitrunker. I can't find what I need, so I'm just going to have to ask here:

I'm using a BC-296D as voice receiver under Windows XP Pro SP2. When Unitrunker detects a channel grant, it sends the 296 to the voice channel like it should. Then it freezes.

I have all of the threshold and lockout parameters set to IGNORE. Park mode is AUTO (the only choice), and Use=SCAN.

Any ideas?

In your [L]isten settings ... make sure the first line starts out ...

Listen voice [Yes] control [ no ] ...

Yep, the Uniden BC296d and XPSP2. The Uniden software will talk to the radio at 57600, yes, I shut down the Uniden app prior to launching the UniTrunker. Tuner does control the radio.

I'll echo Mike's report, except that I have UniTrunker and the BC296 both set to 9600.

Must be something wrong with how the program handles the '296. I'm trying to remember who I know that I can borrow a '296 for testing. Usually the "hang" condition (the program isn't frozen because the menu still works) is caused by attempting single-radio operation on a radio that doesn't support squelch notification.
