Does anyone have any radio frequencies or system info on the Immergration Task Force (I.T.F.) in Toronto?

They run out of a building in the Airport Rd/Derry RD area in Mississauga.

I think they work with the Mounties/CSIS and Immergration?

If anyone can help it would be greatly appritiated.

Thanks

Hi,

I know the group you're talking about.. I watched a TV series (real) that was filmed for CourtTV Canada a while back. Really interesting.

Anyway I believe the RCMP I&P (Immigration and Passport) Section of the Federal Enforcement branch is what you're after. Ask on the scanont yahoogroups list for more info. I believe they are using AEGIS portables in the 420-430 MHz spectrum. They are encrypted from what I've heard. I do not live in GTA, so I can't say for sure. Scanont is your best bet.

RCMP I&P in Manitoba use ASTRO/DES-OFB on the MTS FleetNet system.

ITF

Hi, All. I can say this much with absolute certainty: ITF is NOT part of
I & P section. 2) They broadcast on the standard frequencies for GTA and 3) I can assure you that you will tire as I know FIRSTHAND 90% of the activity involves lengthy surveillance, etc, and they are EXTREMELY conscious of folks monitoring and say precious little of interest over the air, therefore. Stick to the more interesting and active frequencies--my advice--and this seldom involves RCMP frequencies--in the GTA in any event.
