I would strongly urge you to search 162-174 (as many others do) and make copious notes and logs to see what you can find/hear first

Federal Monitoring is not like listening to your local PD/FD/EMS, it takes time (days, weeks, months, hell Years) to nail down what is out there in your listening area.

Oh yeah, I know. I have been playing with scanners since bearcat made their first scanner. I was just hoping that you might know off the top of your head (or notes). I worked for the federal government for 34 years, part of my career was as a 2 way radio technician in Norfolk.
