Hello friends. Does anyone know if I can update an Icom ID-5100D (Japanese version) with the ID-5100A firmware? Thank you.

My standard answer is "no". Note, that I have no specific knowledge about this radio.
Many amateur radios sold for the Japanese market have frequency ranges that are hard-coded. This is supposedly due to Japanese radio communications rules. As a result, you often can't turn a Japanese-spec radio into a North American-spec radio just by loading the North American firmware.
