icom r-6

I bought the Icom R-6 and the Butel ARC6 software. I cannot get this software to download repeater data for my area ( Orange and LA Counties ). It only wants to download local schools and utility frequencies. Any suggestions??

I hate to ask the obvious, but is the repeater data in your area digital? The R6 is only analog/conventional, and as a result, maybe that is why they do not download.

Jim, anything that shows NAC, or P-25 is digital. LAPD is all P-25. In Orange county, same thing.
As was mentioned, Any software for analog receivers will not import digital frequencies.
My suggestion, get an inexpensive digital scanner. Or, monitor all the marine frequencies, VHF/UHF air frequencies, etc..
