Hi, I'm scanning Utahs SLC Simulcast and am getting lots of Unidentified TGIDs. Where do I find who they belong to?
I have BCD436HP.
When I F3 search in DB it finds the TGID that I searched in the DEC columns.
Thanks for any help.

The uids are assigned by whoever programs the radio initially and depending upon the system may or may not follow a pattern.

For instance, where I am, the State Police use 1804xxx for handheld and 1801xxx for mobiles.

I use a program called ID Tracker to translate uids to unit/badge number.

You'll need to document the uids in order to enter them, which takes lots of effort, but it works.

Hope that helps!

If they're un-ID'ed in the RRDB then you'll need to do some homework to identify the agencies then submit a database update with all pertinent info to get them listed. Please see the Submission Guidelines Page for more details.

I just noticed your question was about TGID. IDTracker also shows those, once they are documented.

I currently program/update over a dozen radios in Davis Co. If you wish, I can program yours as well.
