What is a TEM unit? Two were dispatched on a call tonight and I don’t think I have heard that before. Thanks for any help!

Sounds like the IFD equivalent to IMPD's MCAT unit based on the link above.

That's gotta be it. I know for a fact Indianapolis EMS has a tactical unit.
IEMS has added the Tactical teams in addition to their versions of what other agencies call "Sprint" units. They now have Ambulance, Medic, EMS, and TEM units. Ambulance is BLS usually, Medic is ALS, EMS being sprint medics (also usually higher ranked), and now TEM. There is also the MESH unit for MCI and disaster response, and the MCU (Mobile Command Unit.) And EMS Duty Officers (EDO) which are supervisor folks. Instead of adding Paramedics to the IMPD and MCSO ERT's and SWAT units, IEMS stepped up.
