Instant e-mail notification

When I subscribe to a thread and select "instant e-mail notification", does that mean I am supposed to be getting an e-mail when someone has replied to that thread?
If so, I am not getting notified by e-mail.
If not, what does that mean?

Just a thought, but did you enter an email address in your profile when you became a registered user? If not I'd start there. Have you gone back to the thread you subscribed to to see if others have posted messages. Maybe there has been no activity since you were last there.

Thank you, but yes to both.
My e-mail address is in my profile and what caught my attention was the lack of an e-mail sent to me when I went back and saw activity in the 2 threads that I am subscribed to.

Check to be sure it is not being put in your "Junk Mail" folder or that your Spam filter (if you have one) isn't mis-identifying it as spam.

Checked in my "bulk mail" and nothing there pertaining to Radio Reference
