If any of you are interested you should be able to hear the ISS before the SPARC meeting.
The downlink frequency should be 145.800 and you should be able to
hear some of it with a rubber duck on a HT. Listen between 10:01 to
10:08 am local time. It is a school contact with:
Glenmore Christian Academy, Calgary, AB, Canada, direct via VE6BGC
Contact is a go for: Wed 2009-10-14 16:01:09 UTC 80 deg
(16:00 UTC is 10:01 am local)
If you want to see the ISS look from 6:50 to 6:55 Wends morning. It
will travel from West to North North West. At 6:53 it should be at
it Max elevation 43 degrees and at an azimuth of 347. It should be
very bright with a predicted Magnitude of -2.8.
