Try listening to this feed and see if you have the same problem:

I have several listeners that use an iPhone without any problems. If you still have issues a call to your service provider may be needed to troubleshoot.

No that's not a reboot. Turning the phone off doesn't clear the RAM or any programs that have not shutdown properly. Follow this vid for help. YouTube - Apple iPhone: How to Reboot Your iPhone

iPhone users should do a reboot weekly.

wtf are you talking about man, i love when people spew "facts", turning the phone off and back on (via the slide to power off) and holding down the home and sleep buttons at the same time accomplish the same thing. The only difference is one is software based and the other is hardware based. Much the way you have the "restart" option on your computer and a actual reset button (many newer computers no longer have this, you must hold the power button down for several seconds). The difference is whether its a soft reboot or a hard reboot, but the end result is the same. A forced reboot should be used as a last resort if your phone is completely fubar'ed, as it can cause os issues and cause the phone to require a restore.

But as far as clearing the RAM or any running programs, keep in mind there are only a handful of apps which even have the capability to run in the background (all of which are built into the OS such as Phone, iPod, Safari, ect) all other apps completely shutdown upon returning to the home screen, while it is possible for the app to implement a method to save its state it does NOT run in the background as that is not allowed by apple.

Always be sure and backup kiddies. ;)

I am experiencing the same problem. Did you ever get a valid resolution?

if the audio player crashes to the home screen then it's probably due to low memory. If you turn off your phone then on, you phone will free up your memory and might your problem.

Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem. The issue does not occur with all RR feeds. For example Dallas PD feeds continuously with no drops. However, Carrollton PD plays for anywhere from 10 seconds to 3-4 minutes then drops and must be restarted repeatedly. This leads me to believe the issue isn't with the IPhone but not sure exactly.
