Well, considering it's illegal... I wonder why?
It's not illegal to decode encryption. It's illegal to decode encryption without authorization. If you use the encryption-enabled version of DSD to decrypt encrypted traffic using a key given to you willingly by the originator of the traffic, it's 100% legal.

so why did the DSD team publicly announce that there was a DSD version to decrypt the encoding (proof with video) ??
Because it was likely true? Doesn't mean they'll just hand it out to unauthorized persons. Actually, I don't recall them saying they'd release it to others. Anyone offering $5000 is looking to illegally monitor encrypted traffic, so they were smart to not engage. And I doubt they took your offer seriously (I wouldn't).

it is this version of DSD that I wanted to buy considering that I deploy systems with encryption, it would have allowed me to test my systems.

Maybe pursue the OP25 guys. Being open sourced maybe they can roll in known key encryption if there is enough demand.

I don't see why anyone would need to spend $5000 to "test" systems. Just monitor activity with DSD+ and check voice quality with your subscriber unit. After all, you do know all of the encryption keys that you've deployed, right?

yes I know All of my encryption keys, that's why I want a version of DSD+ to enter my keys and follow my systems.

This doesn't pass the sniff test. No-one offers that kind of cash just to be able to enter EP keys into a monitoring app when they already have authorized access to keys and subscriber units.

That dollar figure says desperation and a burning desire to crack EP and bypass RAS. No actual system operator needs that.
