I am thinking that since these are frequencies less that 860, this is a splinter system. Is this correct?
A splinter system is identified by frequencies in the range [851.000 , 866.000) that are integral multiples of 25 kHz. A "non-splinter" system will have a 12.5 kHz offset from such integral multiples. The frequencies above have this offset, so it's not a splinter system.
The system appears to use channel numbers below 352. That is, the highest channel number is 351, so that the highest frequency is found by:
- Base + Step x (Channel - Offset)
- 851.0125 + .025 x (351 - 0) <-- 851.0125 is the base for a non-splinter system
- 859.7875 (the highest frequency listed for the system)
I presume you're referring to this sentence:
Splinter systems have frequencies below 866 MHz that end in zero (851.0250 for example).
That means that, on a splinter system, frequencies below 866 MHz will be integral multiples of 25 kHz. A non-splinter system uses frequencies below 866 MHz, as well, but has the 12.5 kHz offset describe above.
