ISS & Shuttle sighting.

Didn't think I was going to be up this early, but I couldn't sleep. Watched the ISS & Shuttle pass over Detroit at 04:48am EDT this morning. They came out of the south west heading north east. They were very bright when they were to the SW of me, but as they passed overhead they dimmed a little & I could see 2 objects floating together across the sky. That's the closest I've ever seen the ISS & Shuttle together. Very cool pass, glad I wasn't able to sleep this morning. Maybe now I can get some sleep?

Copy that. I saw them separated. Shuttle first at 4:41am then the station. I had to take a tripple take as the station was right behind the shuttle at 4:45am MST 5/31/11. Dang they were moving. Gone in 4min. Very neat to see.
