OK, followed Pro106 instructions to scan pre-loaded material in my radio. Radio indicates it is scanning the correct items for Orange County, Florida.

No traffic.

What do you think I did wrong?

Is it possible that I accidently erased the V-scanner folder contents, or is it possible that it can be reloaded into active memory over and over?

Orange County is in Scanlist 11. Press FUNC 1 to enable Scanlist 11. Then Press 1 to disable Scanlist 01 (Bay).

I am not sure how current the pre-loaded files are so if your local systems have undergone any recent changes, the preloads might not work.

Scanlist 11 is enabled. Still nothing. Not even squelch!
I just checked the database page. Orange has rebanded since the scanner was set. Go to and SEL Orange TSYS. down to Frequencies SEL then SEL again on 01. FUNC CLR then key in 853.7750 then Done (F1) Then down to 02 and reduce it by 15 MHz as in freq 01. Done again then to 03 etc. Reduce each by 15 MHz. After Done on 04 press F1 Save. Then go down to T-Tables and change from Default to Custom using right button, then SEL.
Set tables 01 through 06 as follows:
Code:
440 559 440 851.025000 25.000
0 719 0 851.012500 25.000
720 759 0 848.000000 25.000
815 831 0 846.625000 25.000
958 958 958 868.975000 25.000
961 1022 0 843.400000 25.000

Way to go Frank! I never trust those preloads.
I always think Scanlist enabled first but for sometime in the future, ya gotta consider reband and every V-Folder is full of suspicious trunking systems many of which requiring reband.
Yeah! Thanks Frank. You've been a great help. -Bob
Great!! Your first reply indicates you know the scanner fairly well. Good scanning.:)
