I'll be in Wilmore over Thanksgiving, updating my ARC files b/c I haven't been over there in a couple of years. I noticed that Jessamine S.O. is showing as using VOX Inversion. I don't recall that. Are they using speech inversion now? It's bad enough I can't listen to Wilmore though I'm not sure what could be going on in Wilmore that they don't want anyone to hear.....

Jessamine SO has Vox available but they don't use it full time.... their Ch 2 has been relicensed but haven't heard anything there, yet. If you figure out what Wilmore is hiding let me know.... At least they let the Fire Department have an uncluttered freq....

I have family down there & know a boatload of people, all ive ever been told about why Wilmore PD must use VOX is because of Asbury, & its a "homeland security" thing.

Must be all the those terrorists in training at the seminary................

I'm kidding of course, and I love Wilmore. I look forward to Thanksgivings there, it's a great little town. My brother teaches at Asbury and I have a lot of family who have gone to school there.

Yes they hired a former State Trooper as chief in Wilmore a few years back and he started it that under his watch. I do recall carrying a shotgun around for him one day while running some errands. He was a student at the seminary... don't recall if he graduated.

I don't know if they same chief is still there, but these days you never know anymore what people will do.
