JingTong battery

I have a 2005 JingTong J T-208 the 7.2 volt 600 mAh NiCd has failed. It will receive, but attempts to transmit and all I get is the switch on tones.

I can't find a replacement on internet, nor a way to easy open the case, I would assume 6 cells, however I have not seen a cell which would fit in such a small case.

Not sure if worth it, the Boafeng UV-B6 is around £22 and they are 2M and 70 cm so would not want to pay too much for replacement batteries, and the charger does not seem to time out, you just have to remember to take it off charge OK with NiCd but NiMh would need better control.

However worth asking.
