You are right I just heard them. 4or5 weeks ago the rescue went to my brothers . While they were there I asked them why I wasnt hearing them anymore and they said the freq had changed. I called the fire department and was told by a deputy chief they went to 800 mhz trunked

They may be on RISCON now, on an UNID'ed TG. (Maybe running encrypted on RISCON, hence the UNID).
The VHF may be a TRS simulcast only now. I did notice the 159.42 D351 has been silent lately.

Johnston went out for a call and companies switched to fire ground. Heard them on 159.4200. Nothing on 800Mhz channel.

I’m pretty sure they were testing it out, or their Analog channel was down. They are back to using the old frequency.

For what it's worth, the station alerting 155.7000 PL 241.8 is still active and I just heard them dispatched out on that.

Thank You for the info. I am a little confused though. You are showing me this screen shot and it is showing Johnston Fire on 853.687500. When I downloaded Johnston it was 154.1750

The Johnston Fire is on the Riscon trunk system in the North zone. Cranston Fire is also on the North zone. You need to program the RISCON North zone into your scanner.
