has anybody seen ambulance name? k&b I was near Hartford Hospital today and I saw that ambulance with Connecticut plates. And if so, anybody know frequencies, thank you. so did a research and it says it's in killingly

no, I was in a vehicle that was too low. I just caught the side of the ambulance. Try to get a picture, but it left fast. so if they are dispatched by QV, I would suspect them to be on the statewide system as well as a conventional channel. I don't monitor Qv that much. But I will try to keep my ears open. thank you guys for helping me out.

Try listening to the UHF dispatch frequencies 460.600 & 453.375.

KB stands for Killingly and Brooklyn. From my experience, you'll see two antennas on a KB Ambulance apparatus, both the bus and fly cars, a 33mhz low band whip and a UHF whip.

They can communicate on CLMRN via the QV channels, but they do not have the radios installed in their apparatus. You'll typically find them on 33.80, which, depending on the call, is then simulcast with QV 460 or QV 453. You can monitor QV 453 and QV 460 on UHF and CLMRN.
