Hey Folks:

I went to boot my 106 the other day, and it started making the key repeat noise, as if a key is held down. I am unable to do anything to the scanner, except read and write programming from my Laptop. I have disabled the key-repeat sound, hoping that may help, however, it doesn't. when I told my light key, and press the arrows (left and right) (mind you- the scanner is in Manual mode, and cannot be put into scan), it sometimes scrolls through the banks, and sometimes turns the light on... My Pro-96 is still up and running, however, I'd very much like to get this unit up and running again.

Thanks folks:

Sounds like you have the keyboard locked. Press FUNC then the backlight button to unlock it.
