Looks like they cloned the KFD tool out in china and have it on the bay now unless it is part of Duggards.

No, they cloned it but according to Duggard they cheaped out and there are several differences. I believe one was the protection hardware for the data lines to the radio. I am not sure I want to risk my radio's logic circuits from being damaged from a lack of protection on this device. I think they also used a different data transceiver that was not quite right as far as the signals generated. I am going off of memory, but it was enough to set the flag in my head that it was not worth purchasing one.

Interesting. Definitely glad I had got one off Duggard. With Chinese clones no telling what issues electronics wise you'll get hit or miss with that these days. But definitely as you said why risk a APX logic circuits.
