Anyone monitoring KSP Post 15/Columbia re a Trooper being shot in Russell County maybe? Currently conducting a manhunt, Calling for helicopter assistance from the Army. SRT is also on-scene.

KSP unit was shot in leg with high powered rifle, in route to UK by helo
stabalized, alert and talking
armored vehicle just arrived on scene

KSP detective who was shot underwent surgery on his leg and is in stable condition. The man whom they were looking for however, killed his ex-wife, then killed himself according to the local news in Albany.
