Lake Cities: Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek and Lake Cities Fire. Does any one know what frequencies these agencies use? Supposedly they are on talkgroups on Denton Countie's P25 system, but I have the RR database directly programmed on my BCD536HP Uniden scanner and never hear anything.

TIA Bernie

They all appear to be on the Denton County P25 system as you indicated. Below are the specific talk groups listed for some of the cities you asked about. Fire Dispatch generally handles dispatch for the smaller departments on the system but some cities have a "Private" talkgroup assigned to them for their specific use (it varies what they are used for). Remember that the system has 3 sites so you may need to enter all of them to get the various cities depending on which site has the best coverage for them and the specific task they're doing (they may dispatch out of the Denton Simulcast site but the fire location may be covered by the Denton City or Lewisville Simulcast site). Please note that I haven't monitored this system for quite a while but this is how it used to be. Hopefully others will confirm or correct this as needed.

The Denton county system is P25 simulcast system. So your location will have a lot do do with how well you can receive and decode this system. The 536 you have is not designed to handle simulcast. So that is the first area of concern. Also make sure you have service types enabled for what you want to pick up.
