Does anyone know what LCSAR 2 frequency is? I hear them on LCSAR 1 on 155.265 but when they went to LCSAR 2 I did not hit them. I have LCSAR 3 as 155.205 and Mountain Rescue as 155.160.

If you un-hide the input frequencies, LCSAR 2 is direct on the repeater output frequency. But if the PL we have is wrong, definitely let us know! :)

So far I have heard nothing on LCSAR 2 155.26500 PL of 156.7. Does LCSAR have 800 freq's to? So greenthumb, what would that freq be for LCSAR 2 & PL if you unhide the input freq;?

Try this.
155.265000 / 153.74000 FM 151.4 PL LCSAR 1
155.265000 / 155.26000 FM 151.4 PL LCSAR 2
155.205000 / 155.20500 FM 756.7 PL LCSAR 3
155.160000 / 155.16000 FM CSQ MTN RESC ASC/MNT RESC. ASC.
psredit or win500 will show input frequencies.

Is your LCSAR 2 frequency correct? Co-channel repeater output with LCSAR 1 and a 5 kHz VHF input split? And the PL tone for LCSAR 3 is high...

I don't see any LC SAR talk groups in the database. That doesn't mean that they can't have a talk group, simplex or a repeater on 800 somewhere that we don't know about, but I think that's unlikely since the S&R discipline typically likes VHF in Colorado. I would assume that LCSAR being simplex on 155.265 is correct, but you'll need to be close to them to receive those transmissions since it's probably portable-to-portable with very short range.

9167 is the LC SAR TG but I agree mostly VHF operations in the areas they cover.

I am the Comm Officer for LCSAR and a SAR Manager as well. The information below should satisfy your curiosity.

VHF
LCSAR-1 155.2650 / 151.4pl (repeater)
LCSAR-2 155.2650 / 151.4pl (repeater talk around)
LCSAR-3 155.2050 / 156.7pl
LC Firenet 154.385 / 156.7pl
EMS-North 155.340 / 156..7pl
MRA-1 155.1600 / CS (we encode 156.7 for legacy reasons)

800 DTR
LC Fire / 09157 (mostly will find us here)
LC SAR / 09167

CALLSIGNS (all are called "Larimer")
L-1 Primary Duty SAR Manager (this is a dynamic call sign - changes when duty changes)
L-2 Secondary Duty SAR Manager (also dynamic)
L-10 Primary Rescue Truck
L-11 Secondary Rescue Truck
L-20 and higher are individual SAR members
ITC = In Town Coordinator (duty ITC rotates like L-1 & L-2 does)

You may also hear Diamond Peaks Ski Patrol on these channels as well. Their call signs are "Diamond XX"

Our county is going Narrow Band in Feb-2012.

Have fun listening.

Larimer 21
