Does Lawrence county still use 156.210 as for the sheriff frequency?

I'm not positive but I think I remember hearing them use DMR and it was encrypted. It's been a while so I may be wrong. They was still using 156.210.

Database shows it to be in the clear. They’re a neighboring county to where I am so I’ll see if I can program it up and monitor for a while to see for sure.

Lawrence Co Listener Here. 156.210 is still the correct Frequency. Fulltime DMR CC 3

Thanks for confirming. I’ve programmed it in one of my scanners but I may be too far away to pick them up. It’s logging so I’ll see if I get any hits over night.

That's correct, dmr full time for law, the fire channel however is split. Analog and digital. The analog traffic you will hear, the other you won't. It's nexedge and it is encrypted.

They are on AWIN they use TG 15801 Sheriff and EMS. I still don't understand why they chose to encrypt the EMS/Fire the actual OPS that are NXDN on 154.415, doesn't make any sense. I say sense they chose to ruin it for everyone, they should at least provide an official feed on Broadcastify, at least make everyone feel better about it, could even do like Little Rock PD and put a 30 minute delay on the feed, at least you get to hear what is going on and not be left in the dark.
They do stream on Broadcastify under the Walnut Ridge Fire feed. It’s digital and analog.

From my understanding they had a problem with unauthorized persons transmitting was part of the reason behind it. I think that was the radio dealers recommendation.

oh I see, well I guess that is a good reason but going to NXDN not many folks going to be able to afford an NXDN radio and then program it to transmit on their frequency I could have seen just switching over to NXDN and leave it alone.
