Actually that looks like the ones in QRZ, as all but the last are not in the USA. ("I" prefix is Italy...those are NOT US State abbreviations except for the last one).

Yes I did the search on QRZ. Only 1 result with that last name from US (Bronx). The news said he was from Mass. So I am assuming he was not a licensed ham, at least going by the last name search on QRZ.
