Lincoln getting new Radios

Lincoln came off of VHF years ago. They wanted a system that would talk out of building back then. So 800 It was. Yes the noise level is high here in Lincoln. But todays radios with their noise rejection in the front is better that years ago.

I can drive down town and get the front over loaded about every day. Some places it is really bad.

I'm with you Dan. The 800 is bad downtown, 48tj and R to 70th and 0 27th and hwy 2 All bad areas.

I have N-WIN running where ever I go and it's so clear!

Even with the new repeaters being produced, a high noise floor will casue you to have less talk-in range.

Most large cities have High RF enviroments due to all the VHF, UHF, 800, and Cell Frequencies in use.

I see 10 dbm of desense on VHF at some sites I have access for equipment.
