Live PD will be filming in Fort Bend County starting Friday. Does anyone know which talk group I should monitor to listen in on the Texas Wide Area Network? Thanks!

Also keep in mind that there is a 30-45 minute delay between what you will hear on the scanner and what appears on the show.

The delay makes sense. But I think in one of the shows the time on the clock in the patrol car matched the real time.

I figured this out because some of the dispatchers will give the current time over the radio after a transmission.

Apparently producers told reporters in this article the show is delayed 5-20 minutes and explained why. But it is easy to imagine that delay being the longer 30 minutes that has been observed.

Some U.S. cities end their cooperation with A&E's 'Live PD' | Fox News

5-20 sounds right, but you still have to factor in how much signal processing goes on between the studio and your TV. The signal first has to be sent to a satellite, which, if you have cable, then has to beam the signal down to your local cable company. The cable company then has to convert the signal into something that can be sent over the cable lines, which is then received by the box connected to your TV. The box then has to decode the signal and send the data to your TV. If you factor in how much additional processing is needed just to get the image from the camera to the studio as well as the intentional delay, you will probably end up with 30-45 minutes total. I sometimes like to refer to the show as the "This Happened About an Hour Ago, but We're Still Calling it Live" P.D.

Hi, I've been trying to listen to some of the awesome officers, but I'm either having a hard time finding them on the app, or when I do find them, they are very choppy and staticky. It's possible that where I live, the person providing the feed has an amazing setup/antenna and I'm just spoiled with great sound. What, if any, have you all had luck finding on here?

So far, I have:
Columbia Law Enforcement (which I assume is Richland County)
Florence Police and Fire (Pinal County)
Fort Bend County Sheriff and Fire
Louisiana State Police (I can't remember why I added this one)
New Orleans PD
North Charleston City Police (Charleston County, SC)
Nye County Dispatch
Pasco County Sherrif East, Zephyrhil
Spokane County (I don't think they are on anymore)

I don't have the one for Indiana where Flex is. I don't remember if I searched for it or not. Anyhoo, sorry for the long reply and thanks in advance!
