Looks like the listed interop talkgroups were incorrect, not sure when they got added - but they're duplicates of now active MTO groups.

TG 2052 actually appears to be a supergroup of several other groups for the weather checks. This is presumably matching the old Maple, Durham, Kennedy and Gormley patch that would happen.

Code:
2024/04/10  19:30:22  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7  Patch Supergroup: TG=2052 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:22  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7      Patch Subgroup: TG=2074 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:22  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7  Patch Supergroup: TG=2052 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:22  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7      Patch Subgroup: TG=2073 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:23  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7  Patch Supergroup: TG=2052 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:23  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7      Patch Subgroup: TG=2070 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:24  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7  Patch Supergroup: TG=2052 [ (TDMA)]
2024/04/10  19:30:24  Freq=142.230000  NAC=AD7      Patch Subgroup: TG=2068 [ (TDMA)]

Thinking ahead, I renamed the MTO category as MTO Maintenance Southwest. Eventually I imagine all areas of the province will have talkgroups on LMRN and there will be Patrol 1's and so on in each geographical areas (Zone 2 SE, Zone 3 NE, Zone 4 NW)

I would assume LMRN won't have 4 zones like FleetNet did. It was split into 4 systems as that was a limitation of SmartZone at the time. New P25 systems can have a far larger number of sites, so there's no reason to think the entire Province wouldn't be the same system. Alberta for example, has one system for the entire Province as does Manitoba and the Maritimes.

I agree with you for system sites. I'd like to set Ontario up as I did for Alberta and Manitoba. All the sites grouped by System ID. Then do the subcategories, locally.

So far it looks like
213990 = Toronto
213991 = Downsview
213998 = London
213999 = Lambton?

I agree it looks like the 213xxx TG are the dispatch ID used for various areas.
Enjoi19: I think the supergroup is when several TG are patched together. Usually I see it as the first TG in the patch sequence. Locally I have seen supergroup 2020 when patrols 21-27 have been linked. I did see supergroup 2021 showing up but 213998 could not raise patrol 21. I then saw TG 2020 added to the supergroup and Patrol 21 joined in.

Based on experience, I am interpreting the system data as there is just one system with 100+ sites no more system zones like FleetNets zone1-4. The radio user then selects the radio zone. These zones are separated into regional TG's that kind of follow the old FleetNet zones.
The user then selects the TG they want and the radio affiliates with it. In theory, this would allow a user in North Bay to select a TG IE TG 2020 (Patrol 21 in southern Ontario) and be then able to use that TG in North Bay.

If we could find a Patrol coverage Map things would really be easier :).

Yes, seems like 2052 here is purely used for getting channels patched together for weather checks. I see them patching all my local groups to 2052, all the check calls in a row, and then a patch timeout after they're completed.

Traffic Operations Centre (infrastructureontario.ca)

Since it's in the Toronto area which is considered part of the MTO's Central Region, it's more than likely it's Central Traffic Operations Centre.

MTO COMPASS Transportation Management Center.
95 Arrow Rd., adjacent to Hwy 427 in the Arrow Yard
Built by Buttcon in 2015

Antennas:
Parapet wall tall mast: Sinclair SD210D-SF2P2SNM (Dual 1 dipole, 2.5 dBd, offset, 138-174 MHz) antenna(s)
Parapet wall short mast: Base station adapter/ground radials on probably a VHF antenna.
Non penetrating roof mount: SD210E-SF2P4 (1 dipole, 2.5 dBd, offset, 138-174 MHz) antenna

Microwave seems to be Bell Mobility, added after June 2019, 21 GHz link to 2999 Jane cell site.
Site reference G0137 (Arrow), W2601 (Jane) In service date 2021-04-30
Very likely the IP link for the Radio Console System, along with a terrestrial fiber circuit for redundancy.

Perhaps this might be helpful in narrowing down RIDs to Patrols.

I saw techs at Bronte Creek PP on the tower on site. There appeared to be OPP present with them. -- Would they be included in the LMRN-Facilities Radio project?

Ontario Park Wardens look like OPP because the wear a bulletproof vest, and have a Batman tool belt with many things.
Perhaps it was a Park Warden providing keys/access for the radio techs.

Did you see the techs on the tower installing antennas?
The would have been a low band ground plane antenna on top of the red and white tower at the campground entrance off upper middle.

I have programmed up a old RadioShack Pro-2004 and loaded in the Parks freq. It's a bit early yet. but we may get lucky and catch the crews cleaning up fallen branches and garbage off the beach areas.

And as mentioned in the other threads. It also lets the dispatchers get familiar with the console and all the newer updated features. LOL Muxlow 1 week... yupp typical government. At least its the MTO and not EMS and it's a phased transition and not all or nothing.

I was talking with a EMS crew and they basically said they had the training months ago and do not remember any of it. If you do not use it you lose it.
