I am a noob with DSD+. I'm looking to use LRRP to map the position of transmitters based on DMR location data. I'm looking to do this in situations where the internet will be unavailable so LRRP won't be able to download map tiles from the OSM server(s).
I've searched for info and pointers on how to do this but haven't found anything definitive. It looks like the .cfg file has a location (directory) for tile files so I *think* I can preload the needed tile files and point to their location using the .cfg. But it isn't clear that this will work or how to figure out what tile files to load or how to load them manually. I do know the area I will need map files for so I can, in theory, preload the needed tiles.
I guess I could setup a server, running locally, to stand in for the OSM tile server and serve up the needed tiles but ... that seems awfully complicated and still leaves the problem of figuring out what tiles.
Any help including RTFM (provided you give me a pointer to the specific FM location) would be appreciated.
