I still hear them on their conventional Lodi PD freq. But they come in very weak, sometimes I can only hear the dispatch, no cars. :/ and I live one town over.

What's the freq of that BCPD ch. 17 you're supposebly hearing them on?

Maybe you are hearing the BCPD patrolling and making stops at Rt. 46 ? Or are they taking full time 911 calls for the town of Lodi?

EDIT: I listened to that ch. 17 and yeah it sounds like it's Lodi PD using that freq. Coming in better than their original police band. Maybe their repeater broke so their using the BCPD channel temporarily as a back-up? Just a thought...

I do not recall Lodi PD having a repeater on 154.7400 . However I am hearing traffic on 470.1625 PL 156.7 pertaining to Lodi. Lodi FD & EMS are on 472.9000 162.2, soo maybe PD moved to UHF instead of having to have multiple radios for easier inter-ops.

You're saying 154.7400 was simplex?? That would explain the weak transmitions and only hearing the dispatch. I can finally hear both sides on 470.1625. I guess we should update the database then huh?

BTW, do they still use 33.86 for fire dispatch or is that obsolete?

Yes Lodi PD was always simplex on 154.7400, if you look on the Lodi PD website they have cars from the early 70's with Lowband Ball Mounts LOL! So apparently they were not always on 154.7400 either for ages. Maywood PD used to share 154.7400 with them in Simplex as well. All Lodi FD dispatches are done on 472.9000R 162.2 EMS is also using that for operations. 467.8125S 162.2 is the Simplex Fireground. 33.8600 is no mans land, they were simulcasting dispatches but by now they probably have UHF pagers.

Last time I came up to visit 33.86 was just impossible to listen to with everyone's patches to UHF. It has to be impossible to seriously use that frequency now.

Wasn't Lodi on 37.10 many years ago, like Rochelle Park?
