London Grove Township Chester County PA (mobile home fire)

By West Grove Fire Company March 11, 2011 At 10:06 hrs the West Grove Fire Company stations 12 and 22 along with 23(Avondale) and an Engine 21(Union) were dispatched for a reported Mobile Home Fire at 301 Chestnut St., London Grove Township. Ambulance 22-1 arrived with smoke showing from a 12X40 Mobile Home. Engine 22 arrived immediately following, laying a supply line from the hydrant 200' from the residence. The crew quickly placed an 1-3/4 hand line in service performing an interior attack on the fire while searching for any possible occupants. Assistant 22 arrived and established "Chestnut Command". A quick knock down on the fire in a utility room on the C side was performed and ventilation followed by the crew on Eng23-2. Command held the units on scene and redirected 21-2 to station 22 for standby will crews cleaned up. Units cleared at 11:17 hrs
