FRES ops 3 and all other tg's labeled FRES are on site 4 (800) and may be on any other 800mhz sites. There are a few FRES tg's on smartzone that are not in use yet on P25. Fres Paging tg's were on 700mhz (TDMA) site 3 a while back and have not been used since.

Where are you located in Suffolk?

I’m in Holtsville. I’m assuming FRES moved ops 3 to P25 that’s why I can’t pick it up on my bct15

Yes, they are on site 4, and I believe 6. They might also be on Port Jeff site but I can't confirm.

Not to revive an old thread. But has this changed? I don't see any changes to the RR database. I stopped receiving. It was working great since december!

Do you receive other tg's on site 4? All Fres Ops tg's are active on site 4.

Actually now that I’ve got it scanning I don’t think I’m getting anything off site 4. I’m using the BCD996P2 not sure if that matters. I know it does not simulcast well.
What software are you using from that screenshot. I like that it records the last hit

Using Unitrunker (pictured) and SDRTrunk. Could be simulcast. Could also be foliage attenuation. There are leaves on the trees now. Verify your programming is still correct. Make sure you have these 4 (pretty sure that scanner does control channel only)

852.425 (active control channel right now)

If it helps my antenna is above the tree line.

If it was working with all control and voice freqs, you could leave them in. Do you have the antenna that came with it to try? If you throw the scanner in the car and drive around, do you receive site 4? If it works either of those ways I would start looking at the coax and antenna.

Here is a FreeSCAN Suffolk County P25 trunked system file for you to try. It has all 7 sites which you can toggle on and off individually using quick keys by pressing 1 thru 7 on the scanner keypad. You will be able to listen to the 800 MHz site by itself. The zipped file is your FreeSCAN programming file. The second PDF file will answer all of your questions about using quick keys. Save the attached zipped file to your computer and extract. Open the extracted file with FreeSCAN and Upload Programming. Quick keys as follows:
