Yeah. I'm programming a Pro-2096 with WIN96 for a friend this week and I was wondering which Military frequencies would be good to have on a scanner around this area (Southwest Michigan). I've looked around on the net and I can't seem to find a site that has any.

Also, does anyone know the exact frequency range that WIN96 unlocks when using the software? Thanks.

Scroll down the page and look for a thread called "Selfridge ANG Frequencies". There are several pages with some great info. Being in SW Michigan, you should still hear quite a lot of activity.
As for unlocking, the range is listed on the Win96 website.

Yes, AM is the mode you will need. Otherwise you won't hear much.
Keep in mind that you may go a few days and not hear anything. Then all of the sudden things will really start hoppin' and you will be hearing aircraft dogfighting and trying to shoot each other down.
If you have a nextel, feel free send me a pm and I'll pass along my direct connect number. Using the new group connect feature we can all hear each other and keep people up to date when things get interesting
