LRPD Codes

LRPD uses what I would assume are disposition codes. One that is used is code "Z" for alarms and that would appear to be a false alarm. They also use numerous others such as code "L" and code "U" and code "N". Are these listed somewhere?

I'm not sure about the others but N is "not a police issue"

I believe code "U" is unfounded.

Code L - Unable to Locate
Code N - Not a Police Matter
Code S - Supplement to previous report
Code U - Unfounded
Code Z - False Burglar Alarm

You might also hear an officer used the term "Code D" - this is a slang term for a mentally disturbed (dement) subject but is not a Code used officially by the department.
