FYI Your radio is a Field Engineers radio with conflicting options only designed for testing purposes. Not rated for actual end user use because the radio is full of bugs and errors. To a expert M/A-Com buyer they would stay away from radios such as that one. Its okay to use it as a scanner, but I wouldnt let my life depend on it as a firefighter or Law Enforcement officer for actual real life field use because the radio may fail.
Funny thing is those radios actaully sell higher in ebay auctions then the legit M/A-Com radios because people are fooled about all the feature numbers. But the truth those radios are worthless to a legit system operator because in order to use them on a actual system, firmware upgrades & the feature stream would have to be completly changed costing over $1,000 so many legit M/A-Com System users are left with a hefty bill or a paperweight when they thought they were getting a good deal turns into a disaster.
I'm not downing these types of radios, as I said before. They make good scanners, or if you buy a radio like this for a couple of hundred dollars it would still be a good deal. But you legit system operators out there, be careful what you buy.
