Macomb county encryption

I have heard talk that macomb county is going encrypted. I was looking to upgrade my 396 to the sds 100. But if they are going encrypted I’m not gonna spend the money. Any idea when this will happen?

It was posted in the "Antrim County going encrypted" thread here on the Michigan forum that "MSP plans to go fully encrypted in SE Michigan sooner than later". Not sure how true it is, but it would honestly not surprise me if everyone using MPSCS follows the leader in the not so distant future.
