Major structure fire in College Station

Major structure fire off Southwest Parkway. Home is engulfed in flames on back side of house. Multiple fire stations on scene. Residents are not home unable to be located at this time, but vehicles are gone from garage. All 4 lanes of sw parkway are blocked due to the emergency vehicles in the roadway.

Flames are now extinguished but crews remain on scene to survey and make sure there is no reignition. Homeowners still have not been located. First and second walkthroughs of the house verified nobody was inside.

They said the residents were college students and were out of town when the fire happened.
