I purchased a programming cable from the Internet, new & sealed. Provided was a CD that contained a bunch of 'bloat-ware' and the "MULTIPLUG-FWX" virus/malware. All my restore points were erased, and internet explorer home page was changed to "about:blank" not to mention many other issues!
If you buy a cable from the internet, DON'T use the software that comes with it.
