Anyone have a list of "Source ID's"? I understand there are a lot of users on MARCS. Primarily looking to see if there is a list of like the first 3 or 4 digits and what agency it is. Been listening to an LECOMM channel and the Source ID's start with 770. I know that 900's are state.

Thanks!

77 are probably radios from a Summit County agency since it is the 77th county alphabetically in Ohio. The 76 units are Stark. The 94's are most likely OSHP task force working with locals.

Lowest ONG I’ve logged is 9400500 and highest is 9400800.

Based on the context of the radio traffic that was taking place on LECOMM this morning and after noon the 94 radios were US Marshalls or some other fugitive LEO agency. I doubt they were ONG at all.

Well NorthernSummit park your scanner on the two NG TG's I posted and you will hear plenty of Ravenna National Guard Range Control and other NG talk using 94xxxxx RID's. There are indeed Federal users as well in the 94 RID range but NG has far more activity in my neck of the woods.

Thanks Everyone.

I'm able to get a lot of different radio traffic and I plan on logging more of the ID's to see if there is a pattern.

Thanks!

Im still confused on how New York got thrown in this. I would assume that would be Kentucky since New York Is not a border state.

My guess is because it borders Lake Erie.

I’m curious if those out of state radios even exist, or if it’s just numbering blocked out for possible future interoperability.

I’ve seen records requests for billing audit purposes where system operators consistently try to block any information release.
