Does anyone know what type of system they are putting in for Marshall co sheriff ? They keep reporting it as a three site system.

According to the Sep 15th Fiscal court meeting they will be staying with P25 and adding more repeaters. The video of the meeting can be viewed on the county government website.

Yea. I noticed 154.860 is on p25 and , and appears to have a stronger signal in the south part of the county. I’m assuming it’s their aurora tower simulcast.

154.860 so close would be interesting, as City of Murray has a license for 154.860 until 11/2022. I believe that frequency is still used for emergency sirens.

Murray does still have a repeater on this frequency, but it is only as a backup. Their primary dispatch is a UHF P25 system.

I saw an application in the ULS for Marshall County the other day, it was adding P25 emissions. I haven't checked back on it to see the status.

They have not licensed additional repeater sites, so if they do have new sites online they are illegal.
They filed a modification with the FCC to add new emission 8K10F1E on the 17th of this month. They have not added any new sites, but plan to soon.
