Massive Power Outage Monmouth/Ocean Counties

Much of Monmouth county is without power at this time with some outages in the Ocean County area,JCP&L reported a problem with a transmission line that runs from the Long Branch area to Berkeley Township.

As of 8 PM most towns are back on. I missed it by a whisker. It went out on the Wall Twp. side of the Rt. 70 Manasquan River Bridge. I'm five minutes from there on the other side of the bridge in Brick and we stayed on. Whew !! A fire at a sub station in Neptune was the culprit
