That's government at work. Probably some red tape issues.
Just look at how long its taking for OSP to make the switch to MARCS IP. They are like 6-8 months behind schedule.

Does this conglomeration have a fancy name?
Anybody know if this combined system has a fancy name of some kind?
Something like the "Odd Man Out Network" or "Greater Metropolitan Parma Communications System"?
"Parma / Medina Count / Ottawa County" is kind of uninspiring.

Couldn't find anything official, If I had to make something up, I would name it Cleveland Communications Multi-tennant radio system or Cleveland Communications Public Safety

Don't put Cleveland in the name, all that will do is confuse people.
Why not just list each entity separate .. Do we really care where the hardware controller is located ?

I know that Cleveland Communications is the local Harris rep. They did the install and handle the maintenance. But I don't recall ever seeing any documents saying that Cleveland Communications owned the system.

To be honest I was wondering if Parma actually owned the system. I had considered that they might be leasing it. But, I found a Parma Ordinance authorizing the County of Medina to Lease space on Parma's P25 radio system. I've attached a copy of the Ordinance dated 7/16/15.

The signal strength for this system was very weak at my home last week in Brunswick. Today I am decoding at 99%. I did notice that I am now picking up the control channel off of site 020, not 021 like last week.

Heard traffic on this system for the first time just a few minutes ago. Sounded like 2 techs talking about going offline while a cable is unhooked. Radio ID's were 5201910 and 1801911. The traffic was on TG 323.

FYI: For the Parma system I have TG 323 labeled on my scanner as Radio Service. It was active for a short period during the initial setup of the Parma P25 system and was recently active again late last year when the Parma system was experiencing some issues.
Not a lot of activity, only 79 hits since the inception of the Parma P25 system.
