That's got nothing to do with the Mercer TRS. NJSP was granted permission by the FCC to move forward with the first 4 planned acquisitions of orphaned 700 MHz assignments not used by the counties they were assigned to.

This actually belongs in the NJICS thread, but I don't think I can migrate it via mobile...

Is Ewing total encryption for Police on the System? When I was in Robbinsville, I didn't get any activity from them.

Yes. They've been encrypted since they had their own stand-alone TRS.

Thank you sir. I know they were on the old system I guess I was hoping a miracle would happened and they would finally be in the clear. wishful thinking I guess.

Yes, they changed the channel line up on the trunked side and added new control channels. I was looking to see if anyone updated the scanner database.

Has anyone heard about the Mercer Trunk system being reprogrammed to move the medical people to a different channel?

New utac 43 channel

I SEE TODAY ( 6/21/17 ) THE COUNTY WENT TO A NEW Tac channel and the dispatch channel 154.430 is not working anymore. Is this a new channel part of the Mercer Trunk system or a totally new radio system?

I don't see anything that would indicate that dispatch had changed. The TAC channels have also always been off-trunk...

I don't see UTAC 43 in the database yet. I believe that is part of the trunk system. I know the other tac channels are off the trunk system such as tac1,2,3 and so one.

UTAC43 is a national interop channel on 453.8625 & is not on the TRS, nor would it be listed at the county level either.

They had audio problems the other day (Tues). Things were back to normal yesterday (Wed).

If someone could run Unitrunker on the system & get the CC layout so I can update that as well, that would be great.

Mercer County Fire Tac/ Op's Channels

Ok, I apologize if this question has been asked. When Mercer dispatches companies they give the Response channel then a secondary channel (I.E. North response 1, Channel 2) is this the Tac channel or Op's Channel that I am guessing is conventional frequency.
