Looks like Mercer County is moving forward with an upgrade. Anyone have any information ? Will they be joining ICORRS ?
Advantages of a "Shared system"At this rate the whole state will either be on this, SCIN, or STARNet in a few years. Not sure if I should be happy or annoyed we spent the money to build out our own a few years ago. At least we have full control with nobody looking over our shoulders. I guess?
Yes, they will be part of the ICORRS system. Looking forward to hearing the new system on the air. I'm told that all PDs will be encrypted, but Fire & EMS will not.Looks like Mercer County is moving forward with an upgrade. Anyone have any information ? Will they be joining ICORRS ?

Look at the message directly above your initial post.....ur message @ 8:42 message stating part of Icorrs on Jan 2.Hey, I'm just a license messenger. I don't live in PA. I don't pay attention to ICORRS. Why would I know. Relax T.

And as far as license and freqs I'm going to throw out that Mercer County is in close enough proximity to Canada- the freqs available might be a little bit different. Coordinator approved it so shouldn't be a major issue.
