Can you help me how to listen to mississauga fire ?
When you turn your scanner on, let it scan until the Peel Region system comes on. Push the SYSTEM button. Next push the DEPT button, scroll until you find Mississauga Fire. Let the scanner look for a channel, it will display Scanning . . .
If there is an active incident, you should hear something.
Appreciate your reply,
Have you had any success listening to Mississauga Fire department ?
When i listen to Quick Save freq i saved at 866.4375 i get some activity but not sure which department it is.
I am looking for a for sure way to listen to Mississauga FD.
The entire Mississauga Fire system is in the database in your scanner.
Build it from the database as it's own system. Pick out the talkgroups.
Quick saving a frequency ? What are u trying to do there?
Did you set this system up with Sentenel? If so, did you select the MFS talkgroups??When i hold the system at Peel- Mississauga Fire i hear nothing. The peel database is silent. i hear fire department when i use the quick save frequency 866.4375 etc..

i did not set it up with sentinel, does it work for you with sentinel? i mean can you hear mississauga fire department ? if you can please guide me how thanks.
I don't have a 436 or 536, but MFS will work with any P25 scanner. I think perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with the radio a little more. There are many starters guides out there that can get you up to speed on properly programming and using your radio.i did not set it up with sentinel, does it work for you with sentinel? i mean can you hear mississauga fire department ? if you can please guide me how thanks.
#1 Do you have a USB cable and a computer with Sentinel software loaded into it?
