I was coming down 206 this morning after leaving a service call in Ledgewood. I didn't bring the scanner today, but as I came down the hill into Chester Borough, I punched that frequency into my ID-880.

The signal/sync bursts were full-scale...

I've been thinking about starting a list of subscriber/radio IDs for St. Clares units. Right now the mobiles in their trucks are correct and most of the ALS portables are correct but the BLS portables seem to be all mixed up and do not correlate with the correct unit #. Has anyone started a list? The numbering scheme is pretty easy to follow when you look at it and break it down.

This frequency appears to be for the Morris & Warren areas, so anywhere else, YMMV.

463.850 - CC=8

MICCOM St. Clare's - TG 10005000 - TS1
Atlantic EMS - TG 16000000 - TS2
Hackettstown RMC EMS - TG 11002000 - TS2

I hear Atlantic units at Overlook, so I'm not sure if the channel is linked to other repeaters on other frequencies via IP SiteConnect, or if there are numerous sites on that specific frequency.
I'm just getting my feet wet with MotoTrbo monitoring, via a BCD436HP. Does a frequency user have to be using a talkgroup along with a color code and a slot? On my screen, when is search mode, the Color number pops up to the right of the frequency mode (NFM) and the S number pops up centered under the bottom-most horizontal line. Where would the TG information pop up when found during a search - if it must be used?

I have much better results using the quick search mode to find DMR channels than the standard limit search.

In this pic, you can see the TG info on the second line to the left, and the 'U' is the individual radio ID. The color code and slot info looks weird, as it's flashing while receiving.

TG info is mandatory for proper DMR operation (unlike conventional P25).

That would be the Pen Argyl site of TuWAY Communications' Con+ system out of the Lehigh Valley.

I tried to catch Spectrum in action, but they weren't talking!

Thank you, Scott. I quoted your example because I'm not searching, I know the single frequency system that MotoTrbo is being used on and have it programmed into my BCD436HP as part of my scan sequence. Where would the necessary TG info appear on the screen in that case? I'm seeing "Color #" and "S#", but not TG or Talkgroup, when the scanner stops in the frequency in question.

You probably have it programmed as conventional, which will not show any of that data.

Only 'One Frequency Trunk' mode will show separate talkgroups for a single channel.

FYI Clare's is terminating their MICCOM contract as of June 1st and will be operating out of their own dispatch center they are opening up at their Dover location. I do not know if any changes to their radio system will be made but they will be doing their own EMD. If I find out any further information that's relevant to their DMR system I'll post it.

Sounds like they made the switch as the radio terminology and numbering of units seemed to have changed. the audio quality remains terrible.

I recently noticed I was picking up MICCOM on 463.8125 Color Code 10, TG 10005000, it probably is a new repeater they have but I am surprised to pick them up this far away. Usually I can barely hear JEMS channels. I am located in Westchester County by the Hudson River.

That's the new repeater in Passaic. St. Mary's Hospital is now part of the greater St. Clare's EMS system.
