Hi Robert.
311.000 is a common Ops freq. QUARTERBACK is used by the tanker squadron Ops at Selfridge. Main callsigns used are, JEEP, MOTOWN & sometimes RCH. 171st Air Refueling Squadron (MI KC-135's) is part of the 127th Wing at Selfridge. The 171st Air Refueling Wing is the KC-135's at Pittsburgh. I think they use 311.000 also, but they use STEEL Control. So any tanker or cargo aircraft coming to Selfridge will call QUARTERBACK Ops to let them know how far out they are & what kind of help they need.
321.000 is used by the KC-135's at Milwaukee WI. They use UPSET Control. UPSET is their main callsign.
252.100 is used by the KC-135's out of Grissom ARB. They use BRICKYARD Control. MASH & INDY are the main callsign.

Hope this helped clear things up.

Thanks! That helped a lot. Now, in regards to fighter aircraft. Do they contact like any normal flight (Approach-> Tower-> Ground) or do they do something different?

They contact app, twr, & ground just like everybody else. The only difference is they normally do it on UHF freqs. Except for tower. The A-10's now use 120.150 MTC twr / BTN 3 or Push 3.
Chuck.

Hi all! Would anybody have any of the frequencies used by the H-60s out of Lansing (KLAN)? I have what's listed on the site here, but I would think that there would be CP frequencies in the low band (FM) and UHF area as well.
