Does the class of micro SD card matter when replacing a card. I have done research and found out that the class means read/write speed.

It shouldn't really matter but I'd still go with a class 10 card for the best performance.

High endurance cards will potentially last longer, too. They cost a little more but they seem to be more durable.

Another caveat: Buy from a reputable source. There are many counterfeits out there. Their quality is hit or miss. I generally use Transcend cards from CDW in my scanners, cameras, etc.. All the other name brands are good, too, IF you get the real thing.
